Huddersfield Town have signed striker Alfie May from Birmingham City on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee. (However, it looks to be around 1.2 million).
The 32-year-old brings proven League One pedigree, having scored 16 goals in 44 appearances last season to help Birmingham win the title. He was also the division’s top scorer for Charlton Athletic in 2023–24, netting 23 times, and previously scored 43 league goals across two seasons with Cheltenham Town.
Speaking on the move, May said: “It’s no secret that this is a club I’ve come close to joining in the past, and I’m really pleased the opportunity has come again. This is a huge club with massive ambition, and that’s all any player wants to feel a part of.”
May cited the club’s positive atmosphere and alignment between players and manager as key factors in his decision.
