Matchday Fever

Ecuadorian speedster and defensive dynamo Pervis Estupiñán has officially swapped the English coast for Italian flair, joining AC Milan from Brighton & Hove Albion in a deal worth £17 million (including add-ons). The 26-year-old left-back has penned a contract with the Rossoneri that runs until 2030. Bellissimo!

Estupiñán became a fan favourite at the Amex after arriving from Villarreal in 2022. In just two seasons, he clocked up 104 appearances, scored 5 goals, and bombed up and down the flank with relentless energy.

He played a key role in Brighton’s historic 2022/23 campaign, helping the club qualify for European football for the first time ever. While the Seagulls’ Europa League dream ended at the hands of Roma in the last 16, Estupiñán’s performances turned heads across Europe.

In the 2023/24 season, he made 34 appearances as Brighton finished a respectable eighth in the Premier League—not bad for a team once flirting with relegation.

Now, the Ecuadorian international is ready to bring his tenacity, turbo-charged runs, and attacking flair to the San Siro. Milan fans, buckle up—Estupiñán is coming in hot!
