Arsenal are lining up a move for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze after they have just completedthe signing of Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres.
Mikel Arteta is ready to shift gears toward securing another creative spark—and Eze is firmly at the top of the list.
Eze Eyes Emirates
Sources close to the player suggest that Arsenal is Eze’s preferred destination, and there’s growing confidence that a deal can be struck in the coming weeks. The Gunners are reportedly aiming to negotiate a fee closer to £60 million—below the rumoured £68 million release clause—with terms that would also suit Crystal Palace.
Although no official bids have been made just yet, both clubs are believed to be open to flexible negotiations, aided by strong relations between their respective boardrooms.
Payment Plan in the Works?
Behind the scenes, Arsenal are believed to be structuring a deal in manageable instalments—potentially three payments of £20 million each. While the North London club would ideally like to offload a player before moving for Eze, sources indicate that a sale isn’t a strict requirement.
There’s even chatter that winger Reiss Nelson could be included as part of the package, sweetening the deal for Palace while reducing the upfront cost for Arsenal.
Arteta’s Attacking Arsenal
Adding Eze to a lineup already stacked with talent would give Arteta yet another dynamic option in midfield or out wide. With Gyokeres through the door and Eze potentially not far behind, Arsenal’s summer transfer window is heating up—and fast.
