Aldershot Town Head of Recruitment Jamie Hedges has been charged by the Football Association (FA) for breaching FA Rule E8, with misconduct falling under FA Rule E1(b).

The charges relate to 2,523 bets placed on football matches between 2 January 2020 and 5 May 2025.

As a result of the breach, Hedges has received a two-month ban from all football-related activity, effective immediately, along with an £850 fine.

The FA’s strict stance on betting by football personnel continues to be enforced to maintain the integrity of the game.
