Matchday Fever

Tottenham Hotspur wonderkid Mikey Moore is heading north of the border, joining Rangers on loan for the 2025/26 season – and yes, Scottish defences have officially been put on notice.

The England U19 international, already turning heads at just 17, became Spurs’ youngest-ever Premier League debutant in May 2024. Five months later, he etched his name into club history again as the youngest player to start a Premier League match for the North London side.

But Moore didn’t stop there. He went full superstar mode in January, netting his first senior goal against Elfsborg, helping Spurs on their path to Europa League glory and breaking none other than Jimmy Greaves’ record as the youngest English player to score in a major European competition. No pressure.

The loan deal to Ibrox is a straight swap – no buy option, no strings attached – as Spurs remain fully committed to the striker’s future in Lilywhite.

Moore, buzzing with excitement, said:

“As soon as I heard Rangers were interested, it was a no-brainer. This is a massive club, and I’m ready to get started, show the fans what I can do, and learn from this new challenge.”

Rangers boss Russell Martin couldn’t be happier with his new addition:

“Mikey’s a bold, fearless attacker – exactly the profile we were looking for. He may be young, but he plays with the maturity and confidence of someone well beyond his years. We believe he can make an immediate impact.”
