Norwich City have completed the signing of Serbia international midfielder Mirko Topic, securing the 24-year-old on a four-year contract with an option for a fifth year.
Topic arrives from Famalicão in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, where he spent the past two seasons impressing in central midfield. Prior to his stint in Portugal, Topic began his professional career with hometown club Vojvodina, where he made his senior debut and won the Serbian Cup in his first season.
The midfielder has also been capped four times for the Serbian national team, showcasing his potential on the international stage.
> “I’m very proud to now be a part of this club and this city,” Topic told the club’s official website.
“I spoke to [goalkeeper] Vladan Kovacevic a couple of weeks ago, as well as the coach and sporting director. They convinced me to join when they showed me the goals and ambitions for this season.”
Norwich City’s Midfield Overhaul Continues
Mirko Topic becomes Norwich City’s third midfield signing of the summer as the Canaries continue to revamp their squad following a disappointing 2024-25 campaign. He joins Jacob Wright from Manchester City and Jeffrey Schlupp from Crystal Palace in a strengthened midfield unit.
