Morecambe’s rapid rebuild under new ownership has continued with the arrival of Terrell Agyemang on a season-long loan from Middlesbrough.
The 22-year-old full-back, who can also operate in midfield, becomes the Shrimps’ 14th signing since the Panjab Warriors completed their takeover just 10 days ago.
From Manchester City to Middlesbrough
Agyemang came through the Manchester City academy before moving to Middlesbrough, where he developed further as a versatile and hardworking player. His ability to play in multiple positions offers Morecambe extra depth and tactical flexibility for the upcoming League Two campaign.
Manager Johal on the Signing
Speaking about the new addition, manager Ashvir Singh Johal praised Agyemang’s attitude and work ethic:
“First and foremost he is a very hard worker, he has a fantastic personality. He is going to be a great fit for the style of play, so we’re looking forward to seeing how he settles into this team this season.”
Morecambe’s Busy Transfer Window
Since the takeover, Morecambe have wasted no time in reshaping their squad, bringing in a host of new players as they look to compete strongly in the 2025/26 season. Agyemang’s signing adds both quality and energy to a side undergoing one of the most significant squad rebuilds in the EFL this summer.
