Swindon Town have signed experienced defender Ryan Tafazolli on a one-year deal following his departure from Wycombe Wanderers.
The 33-year-old centre-back made 128 appearances for Wycombe after joining in 2020 and spent the second half of last season on loan at Hong Kong Premier League side Lee Man.
Tafazolli, who came through Southampton’s academy, has also played more than 100 times for both Mansfield Town and Peterborough United, as well as a short stint with Hull City.
“I’m really pleased to be joining Swindon Town at this stage of my career,” Tafazolli told the club’s website. “I’m looking forward to getting started, working hard on the pitch and hopefully giving the fans plenty to cheer about.”
The 6ft 5in defender becomes Swindon’s 12th signing of the summer as the club continues to strengthen its squad for the League Two campaign.
