Morecambe Football Club are thrilled to confirm the signing of experienced winger Rolando Aarons.

The Jamaican international arrives at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium with a wealth of top-level experience, having come through the academy at Newcastle United, where he made his Premier League debut in 2014.

During his time with the Magpies, Aarons featured in both league and cup competitions before taking in loan spells at Sheffield Wednesday, Wycombe Wanderers, and Motherwell. His pedigree at the highest level is expected to bring both quality and leadership to the squad.

Speaking on the signing, Ashvir said:

“We’re delighted Rolando has chosen to join us. He’s a winger we identified early, and we’re pleased to have secured his signature despite strong competition. He’s very experienced, having played in the Premier League, Championship, and Serie A, and will add massive value to this side.”

Aarons will wear the number 99 shirt for Morecambe FC and will be available for selection pending international clearance.
