Oldham Athletic are pleased to announce the double signing of left-back Jamie Robson and striker Joe Quigley from Forest Green Rovers, with both players agreeing to two-year contracts ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Jamie Robson – Reliable and Attack-Minded Left-Back

Jamie Robson, 27, arrives at Boundary Park after two strong seasons at Forest Green, where he was a consistent presence on the left flank. In the 2024–25 season alone, Robson made over 50 appearances, scoring 4 goals and providing 4 assists, underlining his attacking threat from defence.

Robson began his career in Scotland with Dundee United, coming through their youth academy. After a brief loan at Brechin City, he returned to become a regular for Dundee United, amassing 173 appearances. He moved to Lincoln City in 2021, before joining Forest Green in January 2023.

Joe Quigley – Powerful Forward with EFL Experience

Joe Quigley, 28, also makes the switch from Forest Green, where he featured regularly last season. The striker made 45 appearances in 2024–25, scoring two goals. Before joining Forest Green in summer 2024, Quigley played for Chesterfield and Yeovil Town, bringing with him valuable experience in the National League and EFL.
